Paid a grand for this P plate 3 years ago, since then the old girl is now up to 162000 miles with only a new water pump. It is cheaper than a push bike and you dont get wet..

I purchased this P reg 4yrs ago on ebay full service history one owner 43,000 miles £1500 it has been an excellent car on the motorway it will cruise at 80/90 if needed "Shirley Temple" Clarkson did us a favour ,as usual talking out the back of his head tried crucifying the car and because of this the price plummeted thus making an excellent buy. I regularly do a round trip of 650 miles and have complete confidence in it.The car now has 75,000 on the clock. The most fiddlely thing about it is the manual adjustment of the clutch.

The Volvo 460 is a 'hard to make a decision' car. It's definitely got power - 1800cc. I've had this car for two years and it has not been too good to us. It breaks down a lot - especially once every holiday for some reason! We bought the car from an auction at £2500 and it was definitely not worth it. It's an N-reg 1996 model and came with Volvo alloys which definitely gave a smooth ride and we had no problems with. Ours was automatic - definitely annoying because the gears don't change smoothly even when you add some of that oil stuff you put in. However, it has a rather large boot and looks alright. I would advise you to buy this car only if you use the motorway a lot and love to drive at high speeds. The car is heavy and is mainly for the use on motorways.
