It's a good motor but the parts are too pricey, e.g. fuel tank pipes rot - it's a fault on these and Troopers. £200+ for new tank and that's the cheapest I found. Starter motor £265? Fuel housing £135 when one for a Ford Escort is only £16 + VAT. It will cost you a lot of money if you buy a bad one and no one stocks the parts. So have a good look round. Engines and gearboxes are good and should pull well

Big and roomy interior. Not bad on diesel for its size - I get about 26mpg in town, 32-34mpg on a long run with caravan on.
