I bought my 2003 Arosa 1 ltr s from a friend 12 months ago. I got a major bargain paying £2500 for it. It had done 16000 miles and still drives like a brand new car. The styling is perfect for my tastes- funky, modern and fun inside and out. I have a friend who has the engine equivalent Lupo. Hers was £500 more than mine new but does not have remote central locking,a c.d player or the funky minimalist seat upholstery of mine. In my opinion the seat is aimed at the younger end of the market while the lupo is directed at the slightly older end. The Arosa certainly appeals2 me as a 25 year old man. Around town the Arosa is really nippy, the 8v engine is very responsive and the gear box is honestly the best I've ever had. The Arosa is fine at getting up to seventy and above with out shakes and shuddering that is found in most other cars in its class. However although i have driven from Preston to Bristol in it many times. The engine does get quite noisey and the 55 + mpg you get from it around town does reduce substantially. I would certainly reccomend this car and would definately urge anyone who is thinking of buying a lupo to go for this instead as its exactly the same car but cheaper and far more modern looking. I love the wide low profile tires and the sporty alloys. The back (lexus style lights) alongside the front lights that are far more modern looking compared to the dated lupos look all add to the cars appeal. Can't believe that seat didnt advertise this car more and have now discontinued making it. The Arosa is a real head turner that does suprisingly more than it says on the tin!
