Same basic shape as Galaxy and Sharan but a massive saving in price either new or second hand. 1.8 20V Turbo engine performs amazingly well given the car body size. Handling is also excellent and new MPV drivers will soon get used to the vehicles dimensions. Seven seat flexibility, with the rear five all easily removable - giving the potential to haul everything and the kitchen sink. Internal build has stood up well to the regular abuse metered by our infant passengers - only minor scratching off of black paint to reveal grey plastic underneath on some fascia has caused any concern. Mine is now almost three years old - bought from new for 17K when Ford or VW rivals were 23K or more - and I've never regretted the purchase. The sporty VW produced engine has been seen in much smaller cars (Leon, Golf) but still gives a satisfying thrill when pushed. Don't be put off by the SEAT name - it's VW flamenco style.
