Generally an excellent car. Excellent fuel econonomy on a run, but not so good round town. Good for towing. I bought mine two years old. Soon after I bought it the turbo charger solenoid valve packed up, but it was replaced under warranty. A few weeks later the car slid down a drive with the handbrake fully applied. The garage told me this was due to the disk brake handbrake cooling down, which leads to the disk shrinking so that friction is lost and away goes the car. Had a long correspondence with Nissan who deny that this is a problem.

The rear door seals leaked water resulting in the sides of the rear seat getting SATURATED on a regular basis. The seals seemed in good condition but didn't SEAL! I also had an intermittent fault when driving at 70mph. If I put the left indicator on there was a noticable drop in power. If I didn't indicate left...power was fine. Also the car's interior seemed very poorly insulated. On cold mornings the seats felt damp and there was sometimes condensation on the inside of the dash dials. On cold and wet days I had to keep the air con on all the time to prevent the inside steaming up. Very very disappointed with it so gone back to Volvo...happy again now!
