I've had my 03-reg estate for two years and it is a fantastic mix of premium brand quality with fair running costs - mine averages 33 mpg on a motorway run and 28mpg round town. Spec is excellent and the stereo sounds amazing. The 7-seater option is now beyond safe usage for my 8-year-old son, but worked wonders for two years. Excellent load capacity - took a trip to Scotland for two weeks with 6 on board and a roof box - excellent tourer. Biggest headache has been with electrics on auxiliary equipment, e.g. - load cover motor failed, elec mirror motor failed, electric heated seats were hit and miss - all fixed under warranty but not what I expected. Other than this it has everything I need in a car - very smooth to drive but not an overly fast car.

My first E-Class is a joy to own and drive. Very impressed with the Air-Matic suspension and the performance. It looks great, too.

Quite simply the best car I have ever owned. Excellent in all respects and quality is first class. A great improvement over the previous model.
