Positive: An eye catching statement of refinement and taste. Even white van man accords it some respect unlike BMWs. The diesel engine will munch up motorway miles acheiving, often, in excess of 45 mpg. Unless you are buying a large engined version don't think you are buying a sports car, you aren't, it's a sports cruiser. Neutral: Expensive to buy, but then again expensive when you sell. 2yo models will retail at ~70% list new, saving £9k on this model. The very brave could try trade (auction) where after commission and servicing (yes it will need one...they don't service them first!) you could pay 60% of original list. A 2 yo will still have 1 year of Mercedes-Benz warranty regardless of where you bought it (as long as previous owner hasn't put petrol in a diesel or vice-versa) Negative: You already know... The main dealers will give your wallet a spanking (£550 major service plus repairs).

Expensive but quality car. Poor stereo and poor fuel consumption (no matter how hard I try...). But a good looking car that's fun to drive.
