Awesome car. I bought a '93 L for £2300 in Jan 06. It only had 67k miles on the clock. Special edition with full leather, multi-CD, electric windows/mirrors and sunroof. The 1.8 V6 engine sounds great and revs to 7500rpm. The guy who had it before lowered it and put an after-market air filter on. He reckons it has about 150bhp. 0-60 is about 8 secs and top speed 140mph. Handling is great. I love this car; it's great to drive. I have done 13k miles in it already and it has been totally reliable. One downside is the small tank - only gives about 215 miles before you need to refill, and mpg isn't great at about 32mpg. Very high revving at speed - 70mph is about 4k revs. It needs servicing every 6k miles which isn't great either, and it's not cheap especially at Mazda dealers. Also be aware that these cars need a cambelt change every 60k miles or 5 years - it's about 3-4 hours labour, so expensive. But I need it to be reliable and it was cheap to buy, so I don't mind looking after it. I'd seriously recommend it if you like driving!
