ZT-T CDTi and ZT 190

I have to admit to buying my first ZT a week after the MG Rover crash. Prices were very subdued and I thought they were worth the risk. Have to say it is the best thing I could have done. The car I bought was the ZT-T CDTi turbodiesel (135 bhp) and it has been very good and reliable. I've now completed 32,000 trouble-free miles and it is still a joy to drive. Based on that I've just bought a ZT 190 as our second car, and that to is proving to be an excellent car. No better value for money at the moment than these.

ZT 190+ 2.5 V6 (54-reg)

I previously owned a W-reg BMW 530d and it was unreliable and troublesome. The ZT stands equally with the BMW on performance and handling, but parts are cheaper and reliability is fantastic.
I've sourced a very good deal on servicing from an ex-MG dealer who was very keen to provide very competitive rates for all three levels of proper MG schedule sheeted services.
This car is an eyecatcher too, has real presence and the facelifted version (04-reg and onwards) has a more purposeful and aggressive look. Get out there, set free your inhibitions and doubts and stop denying yourself trouble-free motoring with real perforomance to match. Besides, everyone will be wondering why you've permanently got a cheeky grin on your face !

ZTT 135 CDTi

Mine was purchased new four months after the demise of Rover, and I paid about the same as a basic Focus!
The car really has character, and handles well for a car of its size. Ride is firm but surprisingly comfortable. The car has been totally reliable in 43,000 miles, servicing has been cheap (less than £100 every 14-15k), and the only real cost has been tyres as you will be lucky to get 20k miles per set, at £120+ per tyre! Performance is fair, but can be easily upgraded by chipping, which takes power to ~150hp and gives adequate performance.
All in all the car has been a great buy. The only problem would be what to replace it with as for the same money I could never get a comparable car.
