A good all-round car if you need a car as for your business. Probably lacks the prestige look, but you feel a lot better every time you go to the bank. Could do with a CD player, though.

Reasons for my Grades:
Handling: 5
It's a fairly well know fact that this car handles beautifully well even in the wet. There's not a hint of twitchiness ever, it just sticks to the tarmac.
Comfort: 5
Superb Recaro interior with body-hugging front seats and decent headroom make this a winner for comfort in my book.
Quality & Reliability: 5
The Accord has just come top of a recent reliability poll and it's easy to see why - these things will just go on for ever.
Performance: 5
It may not be an Evo or a WRX but this car can flat out fly, especially when you hit the VTEC zone at 5500rpm and above. It really has to be driven to be believed. The kick in the rear you get is similar to a turbo. Or you can drive it just like a normal Accord and save fuel!
Roominess: 4
Decent amount of room in the cabin. Boot is pretty big but it loses a mark because the back seats don't fold down.
Running Costs: 4
Has to be driven using Super Unleaded or Optimax for best performance, which is pricey. OEM parts are standard Accord prices so not too bad at all. Reasonable service intervals too. Insurance isn't too bad either considering the power available.
Value for Money: 4
I paid £10,500 for mine and must say it was a bit of a bargain considering the equipment you get and the engine of course. The only knock is the crappy stereo.
Stereo/Sat Nav: 2
No sat nav (phew) but stereo is a piece of crap - recommend you get a different one fitted asap. The speakers aren't too bad and will do all apart from diehard ICE enthusiasts

For a 1.8 this Accord should not be as quick as it is. The handling puts a lot of so called sports cars to shame, but is very quiet and comfy. The build quality is far superior to a V.W. or a B.M.W. It is however rather heavy on fuel, and as for the appalling stereo, just take it out and place in nearest bin. However overall there is not another car that goes and handles like the Accord, or as well built and reliable, they are superb value for money.
