Had this for weekend hire, for 800 miles of mixed driving and very poor motorway weather. Hired for removals & 2000 litres payload.Initially very easy to drive straight off with light controls & decent performance(empty) when under way. However, loaded up & in crawling urban traffic, clutch control of 2nd gear soon became tedious. Excessive revs required to avoid stalling which came with a nerve-shattering thud. Closely spaced ratios require much gear-changing to maintain smooth ride and performance and fully loaded felt underpowered. Once on the move on motorway more relaxed when cruising. Again at speed dissapointing refinement and lots of wind noise and booming from door mirror. Light blue-grey interior dashboard of my model reflected badly in windscreen,impairing visibility. For these reasons would not buy this model but 2.0 litre model may be better. Handling/steeering precision very good and very car-like.
