This car is fast enough & very economical @ 50+ mpg. My car has 17" wheels so ride is firm. Heated screen a must. In terms of noise, rather good at motorway speeds, not so quiet when gaining speed. Some reliability issues, which were sorted out by the dealer, not least of which was the failure of the imobiliser system which stopped the car dead. 2.0 tdci is a better engine but less mpg.
