2.2 jtd MPV

The ulysse is very car like in driving manners. Body roll is kept to a minimum and the stearing feels sharp.
The interior space is vast. Stay clear of the 8 seat version if you ever want to remove the seats as the bench seat weighs a ton.
The best models are the diesels and Eleganza or Prestigio trim levels. Beware there are loads of ex taxis on the market. Usually in black with DU at the start of the registration. These are branded Eleganza but lack a number of the features such as Sat Nav.
The car can be prone to some expensive faults and glitches. Check the Fluid (FAP) for the Cat has been changed as this costs £150 in materials alone.
Fuel economy does not seem to be as good as stated. Combined on the 2.2JTD is about 32MPG not anywhere near 40MPG. Engine is very willing but would look for a 6 speed if you can get one.
All in all an easy to drive MPV with a good spec and plenty of room.
