What a great car I had a fiat bravo before now I bought this one and its like a mercedes benz compared to bravo.
40mpg 100 bhp and driving 100 mph feels so smooth its unbelivable big tires make the road handling better and it has so many gadgets that you can spend all day playing with them air con at the back the only downside is reversing as the back windscreen is high you need to be very careful. A+++ to fiat excellent car for money

I test drove a Stilo the other day and bought it. Also drove a Golf SDI and couldn't chose between the two. However, due to the excellent accessories on the Fiat I opted for it. Hopefully all the stories I have heard about its electrical problems are not true!

Stilo stands for "stylish" according to my passengers. A bit top heavy around corners, and the clutch is rubbery and difficult to find good pull-off without stalling. It only has a tape deck (who uses tapes?) but it's an all-round sensible family car, with loads of helpful gadgets, like parking sensors, an onboard computer to calculate fuel consumption and more... In mixed driving it does about 40mpg. Definitely an eye-catcher! Cheaper than the rivals, but don't tell anyone else that you are a practical car owner.

I must say I have had the chance to drive a couple of cars which are way more expensive than the Stilo but their performance is either less or comparable to the Stilo. I think its an underrated car and is really good for money. Its power in the long motorway runs is unbelievable with good engine performance and economy.

An excellent car. Not enough good publicity for it. It's overshadowed by the Ford Focus, but it's just as good quality a car.

Excellent small family car: cheap to buy, cheap to run and better looking than any Ford. I've had mine over 3 years now from new and never had to put a spanner on it. Loads of kit as standard, even on base models - what more do you want?

A good small car. Reasonably economical to run. A good drive but does lack acceleration to be expected with 1.2 engine.
