It was excellent. I could get both my birds in the back seat.

The Saxo I have is the 1.4 Furio: it's a fun drive and pretty much everything I expected when I bought it second-hand. It's built pretty cheap, but it's quick for its engine size, and it's fun to drive! It can be uncomfortable at times, but that just might be because I'm used to the more modern Corsa SXi. A great little car ;)

This is an excellent car. It's nice looking from the shop, but add sideskirts and front- and rear bumpers, and it's simply amazing. You gotta buy this car - if not for yours, then for my sake :D

I got this off my father as a hand down however it has been very faithful since the day I purchased it. Good points: Handles very well and quite nippy certainly in the city streets, parks easily, plenty of room for my friends, good boot space, cheap to repair, low insurance group, airbags, did well over 40mpg all the time and was a faithful companion. + it looks good! Bad points: Not a strong engine for lots of motorway driving, found wanting if you wanted outright speed, not too inspiring inside, stereo doesn't like being played too loudly, and the reason for me getting rid of it was that it just couldn't ferry my kit around the country with ease. However if you are young, just passed your test and want a reliable, cheap and fun motor this is ideal!

Not a bad drive. Hard suspension so can be rough on bad roads but quite nice on smoother roads. Good handling although understeers on tight wet corners. Brakes average but with good visabilty. Good in small parking spaces. Good acceleration. A full tank costs about £30 and I can get between 200 and 225 miles. Compares to Renault 19 16v.

Very nice to drive, very much like a go-kart in handling. Speed isn't great but it's by no means slow.
