1.4 HDi SX

I agree entirely with Keith, the other reviewer. My C3 is the 16-valve 92 bhp 1.4 HDi version, and I really enjoy driving the car. Yes I have to use the gearbox a lot more around town, but the 60+ mpg and cheap road tax are real sweeteners! Of course the car has got negatives: legroom in the back for one. But the biggest positive is that although it's only a 1400cc engine it cruises at 60mph while pulling only 2000revs. My advice to anyone buying one - find a good Citroen garage and have a demonstrator for a hour or so and find a steep hill!

1.4i SX

I am surprised that WiseBuyer's says the 1.4 SX version of the C3 is the worst. If this is the worst, then the best must be fantastic, because since taking delivery of my C3 1.4i SX I have been totally delighted with it.
It has its own individual look and has proved its worth both in town and on the motorway whilst carrying four people. The interior plastic trim is exactly that, but it is light and welcoming, and is not pretending to be anything it's not. It's a joy to drive; and having run much larger cars in the past, the fuel economy on this little treasure is a breath of fresh air.
The C3 will never be the choice of the executive or the boy racer, but as a reliable and functional everyday car there can be no complaints. It even turns the odd head!
