Purchased a one-year-old 1.9D Forte four months ago. It's the perfect business/family carry-all. As a self employed TV engineer with family (two kids, wife, dog etc) I needed a vehicle that could safely and cheaply wear two hats. The Berlingo does it exceptionally well. I can easily get all my work equipment, tools, TVs, ladders etc inside with room to spare, and bikes, camping equipment, kids etc at weekends & on the school run. Loads of space, comfortable seating, decent driving position and an excellent view of the road. Bearing in mind its van origins, it handles well on both minor and major roads. On the downside, the 1.9D engine is sluggish when fully loaded (I wish I'd gone for the 2.0 HDi). Plastics are a bit hard and cheap looking, and there's no CD or air con. However when you consider how much metal you get for your money, my 12-month old model was the same price as a (new) base Nissan Micra! Berlingo must be 'Best Value' family car available.
