Cover against Wear and Tear / New for old cover

All Warranty Direct policies no longer include a Wear and Tear exclusion. This means that any insured parts that fail are covered - even if they are simply worn out! Consumables and frictional material or general service items, plus parts such as batteries and exhausts remain excluded.

We provide New for Old cover for all cars under 60,000 miles. For cars over 60,000 we operate a guaranteed sliding scale of payments where we ask for a small contribution towards the cost of the parts, although we always pay 100% of the labour costs.
