Aygo is popular in the city car market, with its great driving character, contemporary style and value for money. It's easy to park, has two extra seats in the back but space is tight with very small boot.

  • Efficient engines

  • Tight on space
  • Small boot
  • Lags behind rivals in speed
Road Test

Four seater body with 3 or 5 doors with a choice of trims: T2 - driver and passenger airbags, ABS with EBD. Electric power steering. Tilt adjustable steering wheel. Radio/CD player. T3 - electric windows, remote central locking, keyless entry, 50/50 split folding back seat, optional air-con. Sport - 5 spoke alloys, front fogs, satnav available as an option. It's tight on space and the boot is small. Engines come as 1.0-litre VVTi petrol and 1.4-litre diesel with 5-speed manual or 5-speed MMT electric clutch semi automatic. The ride is a bit on the firm side and can be rough on poor surfaces. The car will cruise nicely at 50 to 60 MPH but get used to being overtaken at whatever speed you do.

Need To Know
