This Astra is no longer in production but it's a satisfying, cost-effective used choice for family motorists. It's sturdy, safe, roomy, and pleasant to drive with willing petrol engines.

"Good acceleration, handling is ok, but the gearbox is awful - sometimes refusing to go into 1st (doesn't make you popular at traffic lights) or reverse."
