Micra's initial attraction is its cheeky styling. Its enduring appeal is that it's easy to drive, cheap to run, reliable and well equipped. But it's tight on rear headroom and luggage space.

"I have had nothing but trouble with my 2003 micra. When first bought it was beautiful and a lovely drive. However extensive electrical problems are reportedly standard on this issue. My problems have persisted for over 12 months resulting in extremely high running costs, at the moment it is off..."
