Great styling, awesome performance and brilliant folding roof make the SL convertible special. It's big but is a real joy to drive, it's packed with equipment and technology, yet it's very practical.

"A great car; it gives 30mpg on motorways and 27mpg over 20,000 miles. So far it has needed a set of tyres at £600. Seats are firm and not too good after 2/3 hours. Central locking failed twice and Mercs back-up was not good - the dealer blamed support but..."
