Three words sum up the long-running 626: reliable, worthy, dull. This final version, now eclipsed by the Mazda 6, does most things well but fails to deliver driving pleasure.

"Fantastic diesel saloon, with loads of space and more milege for money. The interior of course is better than a Mondeo and looks even stylish than Mondeo and Ford if you get the face lift model release prior to the Mazda 6."
