The Kia Rio is midway between the size of Ford Fiesta and Focus. That means it serves neither of those two groups of buyers particularly well. It may be rather dated in its appearance and the way it drives and is too large to be considered a small car, but offers no-nonsense value, and very affordable.

"A good drive although a bit hard maybe for some. Not quite gutsy enough, wish I had bought the 1.5. Looks very stylish. Looks more of a car than what it cost."
