Hyundai's Coupe looks fantastic, and its handling lives up to its dramatic Italianate styling. It's good value but its badge just doesn't have what it takes in this image-conscious sector.

"Great looking car, had 1.6 good performance (for 1.6). Heavy on fuel, VERY uncomfortable on long trips, poor quailty trim, unreliable electrics, great handling, good gear change, decent brakes, poor stereo. All in all best avoided, as is fit only for short trips."
