Ford got Ka so right back in 1996 that the design remains virtually unchanged eight years on. It's cheap to buy and run, fun to drive and highly distinctive.

"Simple, satisfying fun at a very affordable price. Consistent 45mpg, £180 a year to insure, no faults apart from a brake recall at 25,000 miles. Practical and entertaining two-up motoring for about 20p/mile - even less now it has almost stopped depreciating."
