If a Golf seems too ordinary, how about A3, its curvier cousin? Although it costs more, A3 has an even classier cabin while sharing Golf's excellent engines and build quality.

"I have enjoyed driving my Audi for nearly 2 years now. Mine is the 5 door version which is practical when you have more than one passenger, but quite small inside so you don't want to be travelling too far with them!
The fuel consumption and running costs are quite good..."
